The plant produces sugar, ethanol and clean energy
CRV Industrial, located in Cabinopolis (MG), finished the 2024 harvest with impressive numbers, even in the face of adverse weather conditions. 1.786 million tons of sugarcane were processed, exceeding the previous crop’s total of 1.760 million tons. The production included more than 102 thousand tons of sugar and 75 million liters of ethanol, in addition to power generation to serve the entire industrial plant and more than 200 kilometers of the irrigation electrical network.
After facing a long period of drought, 182 consecutive days without significant rainfall, which greatly affected sugarcane production and with late rains in the last two months at a volume higher than the historical average directly affecting the final stage of harvest, leaving part of cane sugar is still in the field. Despite this, the results reflect the company’s flexibility in facing challenges.
On the occasion of the end of the harvest season in 2024, CRV Industrial promoted a large parade through the streets of Capinopolis (MG), celebrating the results achieved and overcoming climate challenges. Bagusara TV anchor and reporter Maisa Karla, who led the show in a mini electric trio, hosted the event.
During the event, Director Paulo Fernando Cavalcanti de Moraes Filho thanked the employees for their efforts and dedication that ensured the success of the harvest. He highlighted the team’s spirit of unity and determination as essential pillars of the company’s growth and innovation, even in the face of adversity. The celebration reinforced CRV Industrial’s commitment to its team and the local community. (press office)
