These and other numbers show that the first edition of Expoind – the exhibition of technology and solutions suppliers for the Goiás industry – ended with a very positive result, explained André Rocha, Acting President of the Federation of Industries of the State of Goiás (Fieg), director of the event that ended on Friday (11/10). , at the PUC Goiás Convention Center, in Goiânia, in partnership with Sebrae Goiás and promoted by QG Business.
“We received great feedback, both from exhibitors and companies who visited the show. Many said they were really surprised by the level of technological advancement of the solutions presented here. We also achieved an impressive turnover, which exceeded our expectations for the first edition. All of this already qualifies us for a second edition.” Better and more successful,” explained the Goiás Industry Director.
According to Feliciano Ramos, CEO of QG Business, a partner company in organizing and holding the exhibition, the feedback from exhibitors was very positive with many celebrating the great deals. “Some companies earned more than R$6 million here during the three days of the event,” Feliciano said.

Within the Expwind programs, the 11th edition of the International Foreign Trade Meeting (EICE) was held, with a business tour that included the participation of 34 participating companies from buyers and sellers, and about 140 meetings were held, which resulted in a future financial deal worth 12.5 million US dollars.

Among the visitors to the Expowind exhibition, the Bolivian Ambassador to Brazil, Horacio Villegas, said that he was impressed by the technological solutions presented at the exhibition, and pointed out the possibility of importing these solutions to his country. “You have seen here very advanced industrial technology and it is certainly knowledge or service that we can import from you,” the Ambassador stressed.

Manager of a supermarket chain operating in several Bolivian cities, businessman Major Somoza was one of the international buyers who participated in the Eice International Business Tour. He praised the high level of organization of the event, from the invitation to participate and the reception to the dynamism of the business meetings. “For me, it is a new experience, because I met companies that were not yet on the radar of Bolivian importers. It was an opportunity to meet new potential suppliers,” the businessman confirmed, noting that he had made contacts with two companies from Goiás, with whom he was supposed to conclude contracts soon.
The opportunity to introduce your brand and products outside Brazil was highlighted by entrepreneur Silvio Souza, of Belflex Comércio e Indústria, manufacturer of disinfectants and other heavy cleaning agents. Eice also held a business roundtable targeting industries in Goiás and Expoind’s suppliers, where more than 462 business meetings were held and during which more than R$4.6 million worth of business was transacted.
To promote a culture of innovation, the exhibition also created a shared knowledge environment, presenting more than 30 lectures over the three days, the topics of which were divided into the thematic areas of education, innovation, foreign trade and arena theater. During the event, the winners of the first Fieg Innovation Award, another initiative by the Foundation to promote digital transformation, were also revealed.
