The work of the Minas Gerais Unit aims to maintain excellence, improve practices and develop individuals.
With the aim of improving processes, promoting more efficient management, implementing procedures and training that target employees and the community with greater humanity, the CRV Industrial de Capinópolis bioenergy plant created the Integrated Field Management Group (GIC). The unification of sectors was implemented to optimize time, improve program content and strengthen the human relationship between the company, its employees and the community.
The initiative brings together teams from across the company to work collaboratively on procedures and training targeting both employees and local communities. The group was formed in July this year and includes the Certifications, Quality Management, Human Resources, Training and Development, Environment, Personnel, Outpatient and Occupational Safety departments.
The idea for GIC came from a partnership between the HR and Quality departments, which identified the opportunity to integrate other departments during field visits. “This integration has resulted in a cohesive group, making the daily lives of employees easier by providing solutions and services directly to them, eliminating the need for travel and making operations more flexible and efficient,” explains HR Coordinator, Michelle Pereira.
Results and impact in the field
Since its establishment, GIC has conducted various training courses and implemented measures such as the “Birthdays of the Month” project, which already existed in the company and was transferred to the field in 2024. In addition, the Group has visited local communities, to quickly meet requests and promote continuous exchange of experiences between departments.
The union of sectors has enabled more flexible solutions. “When someone sees us in the field, they already associate our presence with solving problems, such as the rapid delivery of badges and personal protective equipment, as well as clarifying doubts on the spot,” says Tanandra Nunes, quality analyst and GIC leader.
Internal communication and planning for the future
To expand the reach of the actions and enhance communication among all employees, GIC also launched an internal newspaper that aims to publish the initiatives implemented in the field and with the communities on a monthly basis. In addition to highlighting external training and actions, the newspaper includes a special page dedicated to testimonials from employees who have been given growth opportunities within the company. “We want everyone to be aware of the monthly activities and the positive impact we are making,” explains Tanandra.
The newspaper is initially distributed during management meetings and then made available to all sectors of the company, ensuring that employees are informed of the activities being carried out.
“In the coming months, GIC plans to continue this pace of work, looking for new opportunities to expand the newspaper project and develop further actions that benefit employees and communities,” notes Michelle Pereira. (Consultant)
